Do not you give up on the idea that UFOs do not exist? The White House experts who have recently stated that, to date, no evidence of alien life has been found, have not they clipped your wings?
Here is a vademecum on research that is for you sponsored, moreover, by NASA (the US Space Agency). But not only that, also the scholars of the Seti (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence), the most well-known on the subject of extraterrestrial life, as well as exponents of the German Space Agency support this thesis.
Two the space-streets that open before you: the first way is the easiest, that is to look for exoplanets (exoplanets) more similar to our Earth. If it has already worked for us, the terrestrial-like location could be a suitable cradle for an alien species. This first type of research / affinity has been christened “Earth Similarity Index” (ESO), “Index of terrestrial similarity”, syllable less syllable less.
But, as an ancient adage teaches, never leave anything untried. So the scientists NASA & C have broadened the horizon with the “Planetary Habitability Index” (Phi), which is the “Planetary Habit Index”. What does the latter consist of? Phi predicts that chemical-physical conditions that are less close to ours may still be potable for the extraterrestrials, and allow the life to be given, even if different from the terrestrial one. Remaining on our planet, in any case, there are creatures capable of living in really extreme conditions, for example at the bottom of the oceanic depths. And that maybe, coming from other worlds, could help us to fill the chasms of public accounts …
