Teseo and friends. Senza nulla togliere al blockbuster “Immortals” by Tarsem Singh e dal ricco cast nel quale spiccano “Superman” Henry Cavill e Mikey Rourke, “questa di Teseo è la storia vera…”. Una storia, quella del nostro Teseo, comunque degna di un film di Hollywood…
Teseo, narra la leggenda (greca), erede al trono di Atene, figlio di Nettuno (re del mare) e di Etra, si camuffò fra un gruppo di fanciulli per porre termine a un terribile eccidio che si perpetrava oramai da troppo tempo sull’isola di Creta. Una storia e mito dell’Antica Grecia modello Fetonte e carro del Sole…
Ogni nove anni, infatti, sette giovinetti e sette vergini fanciulle di Atene (città sotto l’influenza cretese) dovevano essere inviati sull’isola, dove li attendeva il Minotauro, una mostruosa creatura per metà uomo e metà toro, nato dall’incontro fra sua madre Pasifae (la regina di Creta) e un bellissimo toro bianco. Giunto sull’isola di Candia, di lui si invaghì la bella Arianna, figlia di Re Minosse e Pasifae, quindi sorellastra del Minotauro stesso. Così accettò di aiutare e organizzare la fuga dell’eroe Teseo se l’avesse riportata ad Atene e l’avesse sposata… (continua)
