Dinos: estinzione di massa e addio (I)

Un evento dinos catastrofico sarebbe avvenuto 65 milioni di anni fa, quando un gigantesco asteroide fu la causa di un devastante impatto sulla superficie terrestre.

Gli studiosi, dopo lunghe ricerche, hanno individuato il sito dell’impatto, fatale per i dinos, al largo delle coste della Florida; qui, a conferma della teoria, sono stati trovati i fossili di molti animali che vivevano nel mare poco prima dell’impatto del sopra citato corpo celeste.

Gli strati geologici di epoche successive presenterebbero residui vetrosi, originati dalla fusione delle rocce per l’energia rilasciata del pianetino, venefico per i dinos, oltre a un sottile strato di colore bruno, che conterrebbe i frammenti dell’asteroide, dove abbonda l’iridio, metallo di cui i sono ricchi questi corpi celesti.

According to the scientists, lying on the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean, there is evidence of one of the hypotheses (currently the most accredited) formulated on the extinction of the dinosaurs.
A catastrophic event that would have happened 65 million years ago, when a giant asteroid was the cause of a devastating impact on the Earth’s surface.

The researchers, after extensive research, have identified the site of the impact off the coast of Florida; here, in confirmation of the theory, the fossils of many animals that lived in the sea were found shortly before the impact of the above mentioned celestial body.
The geological layers of successive eras would present glassy residues, originating from the fusion of the rocks for the released energy of the planet, as well as a thin layer of brown color, which would contain the fragments of the asteroid, where the iridium, a metal of which the these celestial bodies are rich.
