I ragazzi, isole abbandonate nella grande Rete
Ragazzi e il Web: “Ieri sera non eri a casa, ho controllato e non ti ho trovato su Facebook”. Questa frase, recentemente sentita in un discorso fra due ragazzi, fotografa un fenomeno che deve far riflettere: quasi la metà dei giovani, di età compresa fra i 12 e i 19 anni, controlla infatti in maniera ossessiva il proprio profilo su “Facebook” o naviga su Internet impigliandosi nelle maglie della Rete e perdendo la cognizione del tempo. Si può dire che una buona fetta dei teen ager sia cyber-dipendente, quindi drogata da Internet e dalle app. Sì, perché la maggior parte dei giovani e ragazzi ha uno smartphone con il quale collegarsi alla “Grande Rete” ma non solo. I telefonini di ultima generazione, infatti, vengono ancora utilizzati per inviare sms, messaggi via whatsapp, strumenti ideali per comunicazioni veloci e smart. E poi c’è sempre più spazio per le chat che permettono contatti “alla velocità della luce” ma non del tutto sicuri… Una buona parte degli internauti in tenera età, dei ragazzi, infatti, pratica con disinvoltura il “sexting” (unione delle parole inglesi sex – sesso – e texting – pubblicare testo) e quindi invia immagini o video a sfondo sessuale ad amici e fidanzatini, ma anche ad adulti e persone in alcuni casi sconosciute. I rischi annessi e connessi sono evidenti…
