Paper Phone: un cellulare in formato foglio
Paper phone: dopo lo smartphone, che funziona come carta di credito, l’ultima frontiera è rappresentata dal cellulare sottile proprio come una credit card; così minuscolo da poter essere ripiegato e riposto in una tasca senza avere quel fastidioso ingombro dei telefonini di oggi. E il sogno potrebbe presto diventare realtà.
Un gruppo di ricercatori canadesi ha infatti sviluppato il prototipo di un cellulare sottile come un foglio (che può stare anche nel portafoglio) e la cui principale caratteristica sarebbe la flessibilità. È infatti possibile piegarlo proprio come se fosse un foglio di carta e quindi da qui il nome di Paper Phone; e permette, sul modello di Kindle, di leggere i libri sfogliando le singole pagine, visto che si comporta in tutto e per tutto come dei fogli di cellulosa.
Ed è quindi uno strenuo difensore dell’ambiente visto che, dettaglio davvero interessante, quando non viene usato non consuma energia…
