S1m0ne: un leet a Hollywood (Parte II)
S1m0ne diventa quindi un problema e Viktor Taransky, prima di passare agli estremi rimedi, cerca anche di screditare agli occhi dell’opinione pubblica la sua ex pupilla (niente da fare): neppure con affermazioni politically incorrect, quali, per esempio, la confessione di aver consumato (e gustato a fondo) carni di delfino e balena. Allora decide di cancellare dal computer tutti i dati riguardanti la bella Simone (S1m0ne), mette anche i dischi di back-up in un baule e li getta in mare. Annuncia “Urbi et Orbi” che la bella attrice è purtroppo scomparsa a causa di un raro virus (informatico, ironia sottintesa ndr?).
Ma, come noto, la curiosità è a sua volta un virus pericoloso, così, anche sulla spinta dell’opinione pubblica, la polizia apre un’indagine. Scoperchia la bara e la trova vuota, mentre viene diffuso un video nel quale il registra lancia un baule in mare. In soldoni, Taransky torna bruscamente da una realtà virtuale a una decisamente più concreta, viene arrestato e condannato per omicidio volontario di S1m0ne.
Ma sua figlia, Lainey, sfrucugliando nel computer del padre, ritrova i file di Simone – S1m0ne, la resetta e la fa comparire in Tv, scagionandolo. A questo punto si scivola verso il lieto fine (non virtuale). Con la complicità della figlia (e dell’ex moglie) Taransky produce altri film, facendo credere a tutti di essersi fidanzato con Simone – S1m0ne e di aver addirittura avuto con lei un figlio… (fine)

Then he decides to delete all the data concerning the beautiful Simone (S1m0ne) from the computer and then he also puts the back-up disks in a trunk and throws them into the sea. Announces “All around the World” that the beautiful actress has unfortunately disappeared due to a rare virus (computer, irony implied ndr?). But, as noted, curiosity is a dangerous virus, so, even on the pressure of public opinion, the police open an investigation. It uncovers the coffin and finds it empty, while a video is released in which the recorder launches a trunk into the sea. So Taransky abruptly returns from a virtual reality to a decidedly more concrete one, is arrested and convicted of S1m0ne’s voluntary homicide. But his daughter, Lainey, sneaking into her father’s computer, finds the files of Simone – S1m0ne, resets it and makes it appear on TV, exonerating him. At this point it slides towards the happy ending (not virtual). With the complicity of his daughter (and his ex-wife) Taransky produces other films, making everyone believe that he was engaged to Simone – S1m0ne and that he even had a son with her … (the end)
