Simone (o S1m0ne nella versione leet, il linguaggio inglese misto parole/segni) è un film targato 2002, scritto, prodotto e diretto da Andrew Niccol e magistralmente interpretato dall’attore italo americano Al Pacino (al secolo Alfredo James Pacino).
L’ex “Padrino” interpreta Viktor Taransky, un regista con un grande futuro alle spalle e che, per rilanciarsi, si allea con un esperto informatico (tale Hank Aleno). Dalla sinergia fra i due personaggi nasce una bellissima simulazione, una splendida attrice virtuale (?) bionda, Simone, che diventa la protagonista del nuovo film di Taransky.
